Texas Harmony Chorus

3rd Place International Medalist Chorus

Chorus History -

Texas Harmony founded in 1968 is an award winning a cappella chorus. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of women in the art of singing four-part harmony barbershop style.

We are members of Sweet Adeline International, a women's musical organization made up of over 30,000 voices across the nation and around the world.
We are part of the Great Gulf Coast Region #10.

Sweet Adelines International is a world-wide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performances. The chorus is made up of women from all over the metroplex as well as from all walks of life. Educators, homemakers, business owners, and professional women come together with a common goal, the joy of singing with friends.

Texas Harmony competed in 2009 at International Competition and achieved a bronze medal in the Division A chorus competition. In 2010 Texas Harmony returned to regional competition, earning 2nd place Mid-sized chorus and 3rd place overall chorus medals!

Also in February 2009, Texas Harmony performed at Carnegie Hall with 5 sister choruses, and has been invited back in May 2011!
